Kimberly and laverne had breakfast at a cafe. Muffins cost $2 each and fruit cups cost $4 each. Kimberly had 2 muffins and 2 fruit cups and laverne had 2 muffins and 2 fruit cups. How much did their breakfast cost?

4x4=16

2x4=8

16+8=24

$24 ✓

In Michelles,s desk drawer there are 20 yellow highlighters. There are 6 more pink highlighters than yellow highlighters , and there are 7 more blue highlighters than pink highlighters. How many highlighters are in Michelles desk drawer all together?

20+26=46

46+33=79 Highlighters ✓

Jesse had $20. Then he saved $6 from his allowance and spent $4 on a comic book and $13 on a puzzle. How much money does jesse have left?

20+6=26

26-4-22

22-13=$9✓

Last week tim and his roommates ate ¾ of a carton of yogurt and this week they ate ⅞ of a carton. How much more yogurt did they eat this week compared to last week?
