Persuasive Writing - 7/8/18

Names: Ferri,Vedel,Shahera

WALT - To Do Persuasive Writing

Can you identify the persuasive language features in this text?
Fellow students, have you ever felt afraid to walk around
the school by yourself?
In a recent survey carried out by the school council,
70 percent of us have been
bullied at some time in our life at school.
The bullies are vicious, violent and vindictive .
Unfortunately, they are getting away
with it. Can this be fair?
We, the victims, are afraid of wearing the wrong trainers.
We are afraid of being too
smart or too stupid. We are afraid  of anything that might
draw attention to ourselves.
The time has come for the fear to stop.
The bullies terrify other students, and yet they are cowards
 themselves. If we pull
together we can fight this fear. Join me and fight this fear today.

Argument - Writing - Canteen

Name: Sharhera
Title: Argument - Writing - Canteen
Date:  01/08/2018

I think that we should have a canteen because when
we have to  buy our lunch at the shop’s we can just
go to the canteen at our school and buy some
healthy lunch not  junk food because if you eat
junk food it can and will give you yellow teeth.

If I had to buy my lunch I would buy it from school
because it is heathy and it also can keep you and
your family strong healthy and also fit you will be
suprised that you have stayed fit.  For a really
long time.

Food allergies and the canteen. Students may have varied food-based
allergies, including allergies to peanuts, dairy, gluten and egg. Some of these
can also be allergic. If I was to try a piece of food or fruit that i did not like I
would spit it out an properly vomit because it is a fruit  that I do not like.
Most likely children love fruit because it keeps them strong and healthy
so that they don't have to go to the Jim just to get fit and  strong they can just
make them a fruit drink instead of going to the jim and trying to get fit I really think
that they should have a soft fruit drink and some fruit salad and if someone tries
to put you down just don't
listen to them.
I think that their a alot types of fruits more then junk food just like pies I think
that we should have a canteen because when children don't come to school
with any luch they can ask the owner of the canteen if they have any
spare lunch or have any lunch then the  owner of the canteen can give
them something to eat so that when they are in class they don't need to ask
friends for lunch because that is called scabbing.
And I also think that all schools should have a canteen because people
might want to order lunch or buy lunch for them and their siblings only
if they have some if their parents a tied of making their lunch they can
make their own most parents always wake up to make their kids some
lunch for school and their parents a to tied to make their lunch they can
just ask for some lunch money so that they can buy something can come
and buy lunch from the school canteen.
